Maxalt (Rizatriptan) is prescribed for the treatment of a migraine attack with or without the presence of an aura (visual disturbances, usually sensations of halos or flickering lights, which precede an attack). This medication is used to treat acute migraine attacks.
Sumatriptan, taken at the beginning of a migraine headache, may reduce the severity of the headache. It is not effective in preventing migraines. It can also stop the upset stomach, vomiting, and sensitivity to light and noise associated with migraine headaches. This medication is not to be used for other types of headaches.

Mobic (Meloxicam) A nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat pain, inflammation (swelling), and stiffness caused by osteoarthritis. In addition, the drug has antipyretic (fever lowering) properties.
